Wish Tree Earth Day Event at Liberty Wildlife

Join us for our annual Wish Tree Event.

Wishtree is a fabulous book by Katherine Applegate and the inspiration for this annual event. Our mesquite tree gets filled with “wishes” from everyone who visits – whether it be for the individual, for Liberty Wildlife or for the world!

Admission is free so bring everyone you know. It is the last weekend of the season before we shut down programming for the summer and change our open hours to 9-11am on Wed, Sat and Sun due to the heat.

Everyone who comes gets a raffle ticket for a chance to release birds rehabilitated by Liberty Wildlife. We will do that on site close to 12pm.

We also have community partners setting up booths to talk more about Earth Day and what we can do to keep our planet healthy. And, of course, our animal ambassadors are out and we’ll have our flight show and bald eagle presentation at 11:15am.
