Creosote (Larrea tridentata)

The distinctive scent of the creosote after a rain, is a signature of the Sonoran desert. The resin-scented evergreen shrub has small yellow flowers.

Ecology: Shelter for desert fauna; key pollen source for native bees.

Currently, we have been advised to not take any waterfowl (ducks or geese) to help minimize exposure to other animals. All waterfowl that are sick/injured should be transported to our partner Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG).
