What better way to welcome a new year than to grow your sense of awareness. If you follow this link,https://www.birdnote.org/show/new-year-dawns, you will go to an enchanting site called Bird Note. Specifically listen to “A New Year Dawns”. There is a lot to decipher from this site and this notion, and It occurs to me that a timely New Year’s Resolution, if you are in to those, or if not, it could just be a wonderful way to enrich your lives…and that would be to muscle up your personal awareness. So, listening to “A New Year Dawns” around the globe is a lesson in not only staying tuned in but also in seriously growing your active awareness. It would be difficult to dismiss the rest of the planet if we could stay focused on the similarities, the connectedness of all things. Birds at dawn sound amazingly the same globally, and with a robust awareness, we can tune into the rich diversity within the similarities…within that large tapestry of diverse colors, sounds, smells and textures. Revel in your growing awareness. What a shame it would be to miss even a tiny bit of the dawn of a new year no matter who or where you are.
Happy dawn of a New Year to all of you. Thank you for all you have done to enrich the lives of the staff, volunteers, and wild creatures we encounter at Liberty Wildlife.
This Week @ Liberty – December 30, 2017
As the year draws to a close, I’m reviving a practice of posting a year-end-review slide show of some of the memorable photos from TW@L during the past twelve months in a mostly chronological order. Therefore, I present to you,
