About Greater Roadrunner (name TBD)
This roadrunner came to Liberty Wildlife’s hospital in 2024 with a fracture in its right wing and much damage to its wing and tail feathers. The wing was surgically repaired with a pin. After healing, the bird was placed in a pre-release enclosure to allow it to molt and heal. There appeared to be loss of mobility in the elbow and it could not sustain full flight. Therefore, it was determined that it should join the Liberty Wildlife Animal Ambassador team to be on display at our facility for educational purposes.
