Liberty Wildlife’s Guardians
Preserving Wildlife for Future Generations

Mission Statement
Liberty Wildlife’s Guardians are committed to the well-being of native wildlife in Arizona. Our mission of raising funds for Liberty Wildlife through the annual benefit, Wishes for Wildlife, and other special events, directly supports wildlife rehabilitation, community education, and conservation by enhancing the vitality of the organization and its mission.

Prior to 2001, the annual Wishes for Wildlife benefit, which traditionally raises nearly 50% of Liberty Wildlife’s required operating budget, was planned and hosted by the working staff and volunteers at Liberty. With the increasing demands of a rapidly growing community, it became clear there was need for a group of committed volunteers, solely dedicated to raising funds to support Liberty Wildlife’s mission. The Guardians came into existence in 2001 to help address this need.

The budget required to support Liberty Wildlife continues to grow along with our community and our Guardian’s membership needs grow right along with it. We encourage anyone interested in finding out more about joining Liberty Wildlife’s Guardians to contact Peggy Cole at 480-998-5284. No prior fund-raising experience is necessary!
