Many hands came together to pull off another successful Wishes for Wildlife. There were many hours of planning, starting right after last year’s event. There were many donors who rose to the occasion even in these dicey times to offer items for our Live and Silent Auctions. And, there were many generous folks who bought a ticket, joined the fun, and bid on the unique offerings. We thank all of you for your wonderful support of our mission.

A Young Bird Lover

Our education group had a booth at the new Rio Salado nature center recently and met a bird lover there named Skylar Ehrenstrom. Skylar was very knowledgeable about raptors, which greatly impressed our education volunteers, especially since she is eight years old. Skylar is also a writer, and agreed to contribute some articles for our KidStuff section.
