Barbed wire was invented to keep animals, specifically cattle, contained in a given area. It does that job fairly well. In many places, the fencing remains long after the land is sold and developed, ceasing to be used for grazing and cattle containment. Problems arise when the abandoned steel barrier is encountered by other species that were never intended to be fenced in.

WWW—A New Meaning.
In the past you might have thought that WWW only stood for World Wide Web; however, on the first of October a group of Liberty Wildlife supporters discovered an all new meaning for WWW. Our second annual Wine, Women, and Wildlife event introduced potential Wildlife Guardians to Liberty Wildlife, staff, volunteers, and educational ambassadors.
