OdySea Aquarium’s Conservation Expo

Make Conservation Your New Year’s Resolution.
Join us for the FREE family-friendly Conservation Expo at OdySea in the Desert on Saturday, January 13th from 9 am – 3 pm.
Help celebrate the conservation initiatives of over 30 organizations and learn how you too can be part of the solution. Meet multiple animal ambassadors up close, learn through exciting presentations by conservation experts, and engage in interactive, hands-on activities. Pick up some healthy organic produce from the farmers market presented by Singh Farms and be one of the first to see OdySea’s newest Debris in the Desert art sculpture, which will be debuted at the Conservation Expo.

OdySea Aquarium’s Conservation Expo – Saturday, January 13th

What: FREE family-friendly festival focused on conservation.
Multiple animal ambassadors. Farmers Market presented by Singh Farms. Presentations and hands-on activities. Debris in the Desert art sculpture debut. Free entry. Free parking. Open to all ages.

When: Saturday, January 13th from 9 am – 3 pm.

Where: OdySea in the Desert (outside in the courtyard): 9500 E. Via De Ventura, Scottsdale, AZ 85256

Why: To celebrate conservation initiatives and show people how they too can be part of the solution.

How: Opportunities to meet multiple animal ambassadors and interact with experts in the field of conservation through engaging presentations and hands-on activities.

Who: OdySea Aquarium will host the Conservation Expo, but more than 30 conservation organizations will collaborate for the Expo including: OdySea Aquarium, Phoenix Zoo, Sea Life Aquarium, Heritage Park Zoo, Reid Park Zoo, Liberty Wildlife, Phoenix Herpetological Society, ASU DeNardo Lab, Scottsdale Community College Center for Native & Urban Wildlife, Fallen Feathers, Deb’s Dragons and Other Misunderstood Creatures, Singh Farms, Arizona Game & Fish Department, Audubon Center, Natural Restorations, Tonto National Forest, SRPMIC Environmental Protection & Natural Resources Division, Tonto Creek Camp, Project WET, STORM, Bureau of Land Management, AZ Water, UofA’s Marine Awareness & Conservation Society Club, Rattlesnake Solutions, Critter Control, Robinson Dog Training, Butterfly Wonderland, Dolphinaris, Aramark, Event Network, Fishing Cat Conservancy, PVHS New Global Citizens, Trendsetters Through Education, Mason Alexander Book Authors, Desert EDGE, Salt River Wild Horse Management Group, Viva Vaquita, and more.

Donate: Donate one or more wish list items to the participating non-profit organizations and receive a coupon for $5 off your ticket to OdySea Aquarium (one discount per ticket). Donations should be turned in at the OdySea Aquarium booth. Items on the wish lists include: gift cards, garden hoses, rakes, 32 gallon Husky Brute trash cans and lids, contractor garbage bags, Timothy Hay, chicken feed, towels, blankets, pet carriers, biodegradable trash bags, Ziploc bags, paper towels, Dawn dish soap, scrubby brushes, hand soap, postage stamps, printer paper, office supplies, craft supplies, cardboard boxes, paper towel/toilet paper cardboard tubes, and more.
